Back in the old days with the pioneers, people would refer to a woman with child as being in a family way. With that being said I am in a family way!!!!!!!! That's right Mariska will be a big sister. We are a little surprised but very excited!!!!!
Of all the ways to say that a woman is pregnant, I think I like this one the most! It conveys a deeper meaning that saying, for example, she's "in a delicate condition" or "with child". And my personal favorite "knocked up". We are so happy for you two. Mariska's going to love having her very own baby to play with! I hope that this pregnancy is an easy one!
