Alphabet Date Letter D

Yesterday we had our D Alphabet date. Just like our B date we had company on this date. One of our favorite couples Steve and Amy Dunafin! We spent the afternoon at Fox Hill Park playing Disc Golf. The weather was Delightful! End of February and 80 degrees. 🌞 Steve Dazzled us with his throwing skills! He is really good! It has been a long time since I have thrown a Disc. I am not very good. Dreadful is probably a more accurate way of describing my game. 😂

After we finished playing at the park, we met up at Donna Maria's. The Dunafins introduced us to this restaurant and it became one of our favorite Mexican places! We had a wonderful time with Delicious food, Dynamic conversation and true friendship. Love that we were able to spend time with Amy and Steve!

Seahawks for the WIN!!!

We had such a fun time watching the Superbowl with our friends the Foster's and their family! What made it even better!? THE SEAHAWKS WON!!! The Seahawks beat the Patriots 29-13. It was a great season for the Seahawks but the playoffs had some nail biter games. I really do enjoy watching football especially when it is with my favorite person. Until next season Seattle!

Alphabet Date Letter B

On Friday we had our B Alphabet date. We had company on this date. Two of our favorite people, Matt and Stephanie BROWN! We started the night with dinner at BJ'S. We enjoyed BRILLIANT conversation and filled our BELLIES with BURGERS, BREADED chicken and tacos.

After dinner we went to the Red Rock Lanes for Cosmic BOWLINGWe had such a fun time! None of us are good BOWLERS... However you don't have to be good to have fun!

Stephanie BOWLING                        Chantalle BOWLING

John BOWLING                             Matt BOWLING

John won both games but he only BEAT me by two points on the second! After BOWLING, John and I went home and listened to our BOOK. It was the BEST way to finish off the evening!

I Love to see the temple!

On January 2nd, we had the opportunity of watching Mariska receive her endowments at the Las Vegas temple. What an experience!! It was incredible being in the temple with my daughter. I am so grateful for the choices she has made that brought her to this point. It was wonderful to see the people that love and support her there. I can't put into words the feelings I had that night. I love being in the temple and being there with so many people that I love made the night even better.

We had planned on taking Mariska out to dinner after the temple but she was a bit overwhelmed from the experience and asked if we could pick dinner up and go home. It was a good plan and we enjoyed the time we got to spend together the 3 of us.

I really look forward to going to the temple with Mariska again!

Flynn Ryder

Just had to brag, I have met the real Flynn Ryder. Would you believe he auditioned for the part at Disneyland and didn't get it because his nose wasn't right? I'm just saying.

Visiting Teaching

I have really grown to Love Visiting Teaching. I really appreciate my visiting teachers and I am sad that one will be leaving me this summer. I decided this month to do something special for my sisters that I teach. I wish I could say it was my idea but it wasn't. I found a website that I love called small and simple things. That is where I got the idea for the cone. I had already made the roses and was looking for a way to utilize them. This seemed to work great.

Pasco Childrens Museum

There is a Children's Museum over in Pasco. I went with a couple of freinds and their kids not too long. It is a very relaxed place. I wouldn't really call it a museum but the kids had a lot of fun!!

Jack, of course, spent a lot of time at the car track. I was a little irritated with the two staff members that worked there. They took the track set to another room (I assume to be cleaned) and didn't bring it back. Jack was having so much fun I wish they would have waited until we were gone.

Jack followed Mariska everywhere. He loves his big sister so much. I am so glad that they get along the way they do.
Mariska carried this box with her for a long time. It went down the slide with her. It went in all the cars with her. I think it has a dog in it but I am not sure.

Getting good on those feet.

Don't mind me. Riska really wanted to take a picture of me as the princess. She did a good job. It was very uncomfortable, I didn't fit into the space very well.

Mariska ran around as the dragon for 30 min. She was dripping sweat and it took a lot of talking to get her to take it off. She thought it was really cool.
Jolie and Sara are two of the most incredible women I have ever met. I love them dearly and am so grateful to have both of them in my life. Thanks Ladies for being who you are to me and my family.
